Chicago native Tyree A.K.A. FF drops his latest accomplishment “The What If Saga”

 

Tyree A.K.A. FF was born on August 12. 1998 on the southside of Chicago, IL. While being raised in the south suburbs, he begins rapping in the seventh grade at the age of 13. In the Spring of 2016, he releases his debut single titled “Preliminary Flow.” It is important to have a strong foundation when making music, FF’s family members, and friends praise his work consistently.

In the summer of 2017, Tyree A.K.A. FF adds his mixtape, “FF The Mixtape” to his discography before heading off to college. After taking a break from music to focus on school, FF follows up with a mixtape and the lead single titled “Hiatus” in the summer of 2018. Since then, FF releases a project of a DLC series titled “Brown Paper Bagged Vodka EP” which includes two singles “Brown Paper Bagged Vodka” and “Moscato Sangria.” In August of 2020, FF releases his highly-anticipated mixtape “The What If Saga.” The 14 track compilation features local artists like SlimeTimeRich and Jaynatalie.

Multi-talented Atlanta native, Daja Marie drops the visual to her latest single “Closet Freakk”

Daja Marie is an American Hip Hop artist with a background in Fashion Editing, Master Cosmetology, and Non-surgical hair replacement. Born and raised in Marion Indiana, she moved back and forth from Indianapolis every two years from the age of 7. Young Daja started singing in church and joined her middle school choir and high school show choir. This is where she developed her love for writing song lyrics. By the age of 19, she was writing on a national scale and looking to be discovered. Anywhere she was allowed to sing, she would, and then she discovered her ability to rap.

daja marieLiving in a place like Indiana, there weren’t a lot of opportunities so she worked hard to get her music played in local clubs and do showcases. By the age of 21, some of that hard work had paid off because she started getting her music played in the hottest night clubs there. Without resources and a strategic plan, Daja was still determined not to give up. It was then when she met Dr. Jameelah “Just Jay” Wilkerson and after years of getting to know one another, the two married and began to take one another other to the next level of happiness and success.

Today, Daja has written for a plethora of local and regional artists. Additionally, she has plenty of features with local, regional, and national artists. She has worked with top producers in the industry, gone on tour with national artists, and opened for legends. Her hit single “Raindrops” received spins nationally and charted on the radio charts.

Daja releases her single “Closet Freakk” along with her very first music video. She has yet to reveal a date for her highly anticipated self-titled EP “Daja Marie”, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She hopes that she can give her fans everything they desire by moving things along as quickly and precisely as possible. Future dates for everything Daja Marie are TBA.

Daja Marie has been told that she looks like Jasmine Sullivan, raps like Snoop Dogg with a mixture of Gucci Mane and sings like an old soul. Most industry execs say that she can handle a broad range of genres. They just can’t put her in a box. Daja Marie would like to think that her style is bipolar and she has no box.

Growing up in a place like Indiana, one has a lot of opportunities for education and a career in sports, but entertainment industry outlets just aren’t there. In 2015, Daja decides to break her lease and move to Georgia where doors have opened, which would still be sealed shut in Indiana. She’d like to think that her city is a consumer town full of creatives. At some point, you’d have to branch out and she did that! East Coast Native, Al Sharp drops his latest project “The Voice of the Unheard” for awaiting fans

Al Sharp was born in “The Bronx’ and grew up listening to music. It was to no surprise that he would decide to pursue music. In junior high school, he begins songwriting. While his talent continues to increase, so did his connections with like-minded individuals in music. It wasn’t until he linked with Inf Dot and a longtime friend Fingaz to form the collective, “Reign of Terror” for the opportunity to record. Soon after, he decides to get behind the boards and begin music production. At that point, the “Reign of Terror” sound is established.

With help from a friend, Al Sharp is inspired to record an album produced entirely by himself. The album “Strength in Numbers: Compilation Vol. 1.” gave the people an introduction to Al Sharp-The Artist and Producer. Due to great responses, he goes on to record the next project, “Fist Born: The Beginning.” Additionally, he lends his production hand to various aspiring artists. Sharp moved to California where he continues to create music and produce for artists. 

In 2018, Al Sharp releases his album “Audio Narcotic.” He gains years of experience with benefits to work with seasoned vets and younger artists. Together in 2020, they construct a solid body of work titled “The Voice of the Unheard.” This is Al Sharp’s 6th solo album. Finally, the years spent polishing his skill-set will be heard. roze gold rippThe unsigned artist Roze Gold Ripp hails from Fresno Ca and resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was raised in a rough environment where it was only a couple of ways of making it out the hood. One way is an academic scholarship or athletic scholarship, unfortunately, he got sent to Albuquerque New Mexico to change his life around. At first, it was very different but as the weeks went by, he sets a trend. See it was chopped & screwed music going on out in the area because Texas was only 8 hours away. One night he got a very well DJ play Mac Dre & New Mexico has not been the same since. It’s a lot of hate and love in the city but long as you keep your circle small and rub shoulders with the right individuals that want to see you in position just as themselves or even better than your own the right route to greatness. It’s been a long road going and I know I got a lot more road to travel to that freeway of success. I’m just ready and focused to get there. Failure is never the option. Plus my grandfather always said to me -“anything easy in life, ain’t worth keeping.” So I’m accepting all challenges and obstacles to do just that… I got a lot to prove to myself, my kids, and my family. 

Roze Gold Ripp has a lot of work ahead of him that includes dropping mixtapes, albums, and short movies. “I choose this art, so I must accept the challenge and become an expert at my craft. I never was the one to accept a handout. I sat down and mapped my plan out.” 

Roze Gold Ripp has an up and coming artist, Hondo Fechii coming way from the deep 6 of Canada. Ripp connects the dots, makes good music that you can relate to, and understand where he comes from. Southern Artist, Golden captures his listeners with his single “Golden- Zone”

The underground artist named Golden is from Birmingham Alabama with a Toronto-based sound. Coming from poverty with an absent father and mother, he grows up moving between Chicago, Atlanta, and his native land. Never spending much time anywhere hinders him from establishing real relationships. Most life events pertaining to his relocations are short term and translates into his relationships now. He has never been able to give any lady, all he can, in fear that it will all just up and disappear when he gets comfortable. 

GOLDENGolden has very few friends due to causing much trouble in his younger life. In pursuit of respect, he wouldn’t get due to wearing the same clothes and never having money or anything his peers had, which he turned to violence to do so. He thought, if they wouldn’t respect him, they would fear him. Due to abusive siblings and poor parenting, his emotional trauma has bled into his adult life. Trusting no one and very few people in his reclusive circle numb him to desire any relationship with anyone and even still distrusting his closest friends with the deep truth that everyone is temporary. Creative expression has been the only permanent force he has known to have never left him. Legendary Hip-Hop Pioneer Grandmaster Melle Mel Fuses Rap With Goth Rock

 

In Collaboration with Club Kid Jason Chaos Hip-Hop legend and pioneer Grandmaster Melle Mel joins forces with Gothic Rap innovator Jason Chaos in “Concrete Shakin,” a 7 Crown Records production dropping on July 17, 2020, viaSony’s The Orchard distribution. The song will be available for streaming on Spotify and Tidal and for purchase on Apple Music, Google Play Store, and Amazon.

JASON CHAOS“Concrete Shakin” marks a historic event: this is the first time hip-hop and gothic rock will have joined forces on a major platform. Melle Mel first met Jason at a New Years’ 2020 party where the two bonded over their preference for glam in fashion, as well as having worked with the same film director Eric Rivas. Both trailblazers, wanting to shake up the monotony they felt in the hip-hop industry, set out to the studio to invent a track that would better represent the market and connected a theme, rather than a facade, to their music and their personas.

“Concrete Shakin” pushes listeners to act now, not to wait for the world to go into havoc. “Chaos going on in the world should not be an excuse to get things done,” says Jason. “Don’t wait for the concrete to start Shakin, man.” The song will be remixed and featured in the soundtrack of “Duke of York,” a film about the pandemic premiering in late 2020 directed by Eric Rivas, director of “Vamp Bikers” with Apache Ramos and renowned NY journalist Michael Musto.

New York Hip-Hop Artist Dapo focuses on winning with the release of his latest EP, “KING II”

North Babylon native, Dylan Daponte, or “Dapo” is a 20-year-old hip hop artist. Dapo grew up with his divorced mother and father but his mother mostly took care of him. When Dapo was in middle school, he chooses to take up rap music as a hobby. Although his mother wasn’t a huge Rap or Hip-Hop fan, Dapo couldn’t be any more different from influences like Eminem, Kanye West, Akon, and J. Cole. The young Dapo began writing lyrics but never shared his accomplishments with anyone including his close friends. His friends encourage him to take his writing and music more seriously. Shortly after, he decides to release his first song. According to almost everybody, it was an epic fail. Dapo was clowned-made fun of-counted out-even by most of his friends-who encouraged him in the first place. After the debut single backlash, Dapo chooses to focus on his music full-time. He loves the craft so much that he begins to lose sleep and stops hanging out with friends.

DAPOAbout two years later, Dapo completes and releases his first real project titled “King.” In 2018, he felt that he had to prove that he is a contender in the Hip-Hop world. Every conversation that he had, he explained why he belonged for 50 minutes and being the best at it. Miraculously, people started to believe in him more after seeing that he still had life in him.  Recently, Dapo announces his label “Raw Music Entertainment.” The label features artists such as King Cxge, Logan, Merc, Hief-just to name a few. After another 2 years of countless singles, two projects, and countless days working-he releases the second installment of his now-signature album series “King II”. ‘The Weekly Beat’ reviewed ” King II” saying “from start to finish, the album is energizing and captivating”. “King II” currently has done almost 25,000 streams across all platforms.

Lately, Dapo always seems to have a chip on his shoulder due to being counted out so early by so many. He continues to try and remind people that he belongs in this music game, even after being told by his peers, he was great. Despite the complexities in Hip-Hop, he will always want to go above and beyond to prove more than he needs to. There is no ceiling for Dapo, he wants to go higher and higher and doesn’t plan on slowing down. He wants to be something we see rarely, he wants to push the culture forward. He won’t stop till he can say he has done that and more.
