Carlito Black releases the visual to his Latest Banga “Kawhi”

Carlito Black, born DeCarlo Serrano, is an exceptional lyricist with an aggressive delivery. He was born and raised in Carol City -an impoverished northern suburb of Miami, Florida -also known as Murda Gardens. The Southern lyricist operates independently and self-funded under his imprint, Blueprint Music Group. Similar to Nipsey Hussle and Crenshaw, He is incorporating his hood into a diverse marketing strategy. His 10-year scenic route to popularity has chiseled him into a polished artist, songwriter, producer, and business-savvy hustler. Also known as “Baby Jefe,” Carlito’s self-proclaimed title seems to be the theme of his strategic fearlessness.

CARLITO BLACK

Carlito Black infuses gritty conscientious lyrics into an energetic trap nostalgia with distinctive signature sounds. His content reflects the mind of an unorthodox critical thinker with exceptional penmanship. Black has delivered tracks like “Cross Da BorderAin’t Asking, and ThugLife” which can be heard on platforms like Spotify. Representing his Jamaican roots and Dominican Republican bloodline, the self-made mogul offers dynamic vocals laced with random Spanglish lingo and patois accents. Despite the overwhelming lack of support from the 305 veterans, Dade County’s black sheep and owner of B.P.M.G. Blueprint Music Group is the most slept on independent artist in Hip-Hop! [VIDEO]SYCKCEZZY – “BLUE FACES” FT. STEVIE STONE | @SYCKCEZZYSHORTY

Midwest Rapper, SyckCezzy’s visual on his Latest Banga, “Blue Faces”featuring Stevie Stone

Ice-T and Henry “Hen Gee” Garcia’s label, Final Level Music has emerged another hardcore artist and his name is SyckCezzy. The soon-to-be Los Angeles artist was born in Missouri and raised in Richmond Virginia. Growing up on the southside of Richmond wasn’t the ultimate dream for the young Syck but it was an experience. Although he grew up on welfare, his mother and stepfather made it work. While his stepfather was working, his mother took care of the family which proved challenging in a neighborhood where something was always going on.

“I’d change nothing at all because I wouldn’t be- who I am today- if I did.”

In 2010, SyckCezzy begins to take rap more seriously after his cousin introduces him to it. His style lyrically represents his truth and the lifestyle he lives. Let’s say the South, influenced by the Midwest. When in creative mode and to prevent writer’s block, SyckCezzy likes to lock in on the task at hand. Occasionally, he prefers to write before a studio session. He diligently tests flows and techniques bar from bar-before choosing which ones to use on a track.

“I’m a “reality” rapper that’s what I consider myself … You can’t fit me in a certain type of box”

SyckCezzy pays homage to his mentor, Henry “Hen Gee” Garcia, a successful music industry professional and his close friend Tone Gee from Minnesota. has experienced some memorable studio sessions while being a Final Level Music Artist. He would like to work with some notable figures in the game like Gucci Mane, J. Cole, Travis Scott, and Zaytoven.

SyckCezzy

SyckCezzy prides himself as a diverse artist that works with all genres of music. Ten years from now, Syck will focus on different phases and styles that the hip-hop genre has gone through over the last few decades. With a winning strategy in place, SyckCezzy plans to put his people in a position to win along with giving back to his people. His message to the youth is strong- “Please educate yourselves by paying attention, follow your dream, work hard, and don’t accept “NO” as an answer.” The rapper/entrepreneur has a new business venture and it is ‘Syck Wine’ to build generational wealth. Other rappers have done this through apparel and electronics for example.

If it wasn’t for the Creator, HenGee, and Ice-believing in me and allowing me to be part of the Final Level Music/Syndicate Brotherhood- I don’t know where I’d be in life”

SyckCezzy’s new single “Blue Faces” features Stevie Stone, a childhood friend from the neighborhood. The single appeals to those who can relate to the day-to-day hustle. Syck and Stevie’s approach in this gangsta track considers multiple devious approaches that will increase their net worth at the expense of the well-connected streets. The single is available on all digital music platforms including Spotify and Apple Music. Be sure to connect with SyckCezzy on all social media and digital music platforms.

JAKE ZIMMA

Jake Zimma is an emerging California singer-songwriter and guitarist with musical nods to hip hop, reggae, R&B, blues, rock, and most things funky. His sound combines electronic production with live instrumentation and is often compared to Dennis Lloyd, Chet Faker, and Post Malone. Despite the comparisons, Jake Zimma’s sound is entirely his own.

Jake had a fiery start to his career when he gained 61K monthly listeners and 740k streams for ‘On Like 40’ in its first 7 months. His new release is likely to soar, as well. “The process of “Oh, San Francisco” has been a roller coaster, to say the least,” Zimma says. “Its initial inspiration was from a feeling of wanting to go back to normal life after COVID started. As political movements progressed like BLM it reminded me of what life was possibly like in the 60s during political and cultural revolutions, thus bringing the final song together. It’s built off of 6 different mixes, 3 masters, and countless hours in the studio with his band and independent producer group, The Whoadees at The Grill Studios in Emeryville, CA.” Be sure to connect with Jake on his website, social media, and digital music platforms.

[NEW MUSIC] MICHAEL STEFAN- “RULA”| @michaelstefanVA

East Coast Artist, Michael Stefan adds another Masterpiece to his collection titled “Rula” featuring Yung Trap and John Concepcion

Michael “Michael Stefan” Marshall represents a new generation of music makers who artistically push boundaries while challenging society’s status quo of what constitutes normal. Born in Suffolk, Virginia in October of 1995, Michael grew up in a rural setting eventually growing bored at an early age enough to ask- what is life? Who am I? Why is life the way it is? Who are we as a culture? Why?

Michael StefanThe essence of Michael’s being in the making of innovative music today. “Music is my therapy. I need it. Anyone whose seen death close along with drug abuse to those you love without understanding will force you to grow.” The message in Marshall’s unique approach to music shows anyone listening- just be themselves no matter what the obstacle.

Before being offered multiple major recording deals headed into the Pandemic of 2020, Marshall released 2 independent mixtapes along with a few music videos.

“In the midst of your darkness-become your own light.”

The same commonalities that Marshall expresses through his music connect him with the misfits, middle class, and people of the world. Being raised by a minister of music from childhood musically telling stories came naturally to Michael. With the sensational ability to profess introspective truths discovered through going through pressure, his studies of self, and the world-Michael found music and became it.

“I am music from the eyes of the observer.”

Currently, Michael Stefan is preparing a multitude of new music which will be released via his new major label partnership. From near-death experiences, growing up in a single-mother household, having a family of his own, dodging court, drugs, and the streets early on, among many countless life lessons- Michael has reality through art to share. [VIDEO] DAJA MARIE – “CLOSET FREAKK”| @RealDajaMarie

Multi-talented Atlanta native, Daja Marie drops the visual to her latest single “Closet Freakk”

Daja Marie is an American Hip Hop artist with a background in Fashion Editing, Master Cosmetology, and Non-surgical hair replacement. Born and raised in Marion Indiana, she moved back and forth from Indianapolis every two years from the age of 7. Young Daja started singing in church and joined her middle school choir and high school show choir. This is where she developed her love for writing song lyrics. By the age of 19, she was writing on a national scale and looking to be discovered. Anywhere she was allowed to sing, she would, and then she discovered her ability to rap.

daja marieLiving in a place like Indiana, there weren’t a lot of opportunities so she worked hard to get her music played in local clubs and do showcases. By the age of 21, some of that hard work had paid off because she started getting her music played in the hottest night clubs there. Without resources and a strategic plan, Daja was still determined not to give up. It was then when she met Dr. Jameelah “Just Jay” Wilkerson and after years of getting to know one another, the two married and began to take one another other to the next level of happiness and success.

Today, Daja has written for a plethora of local and regional artists. Additionally, she has plenty of features with local, regional, and national artists. She has worked with top producers in the industry, gone on tour with national artists, and opened for legends. Her hit single “Raindrops” received spins nationally and charted on the radio charts.

Daja releases her single “Closet Freakk” along with her very first music video. She has yet to reveal a date for her highly anticipated self-titled EP “Daja Marie”, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She hopes that she can give her fans everything they desire by moving things along as quickly and precisely as possible. Future dates for everything Daja Marie are TBA.

Daja Marie has been told that she looks like Jasmine Sullivan, raps like Snoop Dogg with a mixture of Gucci Mane and sings like an old soul. Most industry execs say that she can handle a broad range of genres. They just can’t put her in a box. Daja Marie would like to think that her style is bipolar and she has no box.

Growing up in a place like Indiana, one has a lot of opportunities for education and a career in sports, but entertainment industry outlets just aren’t there. In 2015, Daja decides to break her lease and move to Georgia where doors have opened, which would still be sealed shut in Indiana. She’d like to think that her city is a consumer town full of creatives. At some point, you’d have to branch out and she did that!
