Dangerous Rob and his visual for “I Love U” has become a Fan Favorite

Dangerous Rob aka Robert C. Daniels II is Oklahoma`s premier hip-hop artist and is known to his friends as D-Rob. Dangerous Rob has already made his mark in Japan, Germany, Australia, and the UK. He recorded his first rap record at the age of 15, with a group named THOB-MOB. Rob graduated from Thomas Edison Prep School, and then he went on to Langston University where he majored in Broadcasting and Journalism.

Ultimately, he put his educational goals aside and released his second record. With the combined forces of Partners-N-Rhyme, a local rap group, this record was distributed nationwide through an Independent label called ACI Records based out of Los Angeles, California. Independently, their record sold more than 500,000 copies of the single “Cold Chillin in the Middle.” This popularity allowed the group a feature on the Arsenio Hall Show and national tours across the country.

In 2022, Dangerous Rob released the single “Dangerous Wayz” and in March of 2023, Rob released the new single and accompanying visual “I Love U” from his 8th album. In the single, Rob explains, “Let me explain because this game is needed. Treat people how you want to be treated.” Per usual, Rob’s seasoned lyrics relay a message that people of all different walks of life can relate to. Now that the official video is here, the power that “I Love U” holds will continue to grow and capture the attention of real Hip-Hop fans.

The seasoned rapper has had previous success with singles, “Work It”, “To the Top” and “Real Sh!t”, and now beginning the year with “I Love U,” the most impactful song of this generation. Ever watch someone destroy themselves? The show could come across to some as either a campy 70s horror flick or art…maybe both. One thing is for certain. Watching and listening to Headkrack destroy his inner demon is a bit disturbing, entertaining, and thought-provoking.

VIOLENCE directed by Kansas Bowling is dingy, ominous and something we’ve all been through. Musy Da Don is a rapper and producer from Tacoma, WA with ties to Washington D.C. and Brooklyn, NY. This half Trinidadian half-American artist has been making music for over ten years. Born in the incomparable Bronx, NY to Nigerian parents, David Mofunanya had his share of black culture and loved everything about it – especially the music. Making it to play basketball in college, David faced that day with being kicked off the team. Basketball and music had been his life. With that said, two of the most important factors of his life are taken away. Then depression decides to come in and attempt to take its place. But instead of welcoming the depression, Day Parkay tried hard to fight it. So much so that he ran to music, which consoled his mind and boosted his self-esteem. And from this, his first mix tape, “Hoop Dreams Deflated,” was birthed and became available on DatPiff.com – a well-known site for mix tapes and learning more about up-and-coming artists in the Hip Hop community.

Mac & A.K. delivers their latest single “King of the Grind” on major platforms

Mac & A.K.’s first release of the year was “Gasoline“, which was well-received and is currently at 98,861 streams on Spotify. The newest single is “King of the Grind” and thus far has accumulated over 27,000 Spotify streams. It is the followup to their previous collaboration Don’t Play With ME” featuring King Cydal and Money $ Mont AKA Mr. Fetti. The single continues to make a lot of noise with over 249,000 streams on Spotify alone. Both singles will appear on the up-and-coming album “Only The Strong Survive.” The album will feature notable artists like Planet Asia, King Cydal, JT The Bigga Figga, M-Dash, Da Hoodstarz, and many more.

Mac & A.K. is a group consisting of fraternal twin brothers Eric “Mac Pacino” Gordon and Keith “A.K.” Gordon, hailing from East Palo Alto California in the San Francisco Bay Area. The two honed their craft under the backdrop of living in East Palo Alto, which in 1992 was the murder capital of the United States. Eric “Mac Pacino” first started in a group called Black Jack, which released their acclaimed album “Streets 2 Da Grave” on Ichiban records. Mac Pacino decided to leave the group and formed Mac & A.K. with his brother. The group would go on to sign with Tommy Boy Records based in New York, which at the time was a powerhouse in the hip hop scene with acts like Coolio, De La Soul, Naughty By Nature, and House of Pain.

While on Tommy Boy Records, Mac & A.K. released their first EP “Westbound: For Riders” only on their imprint Streetlife Records. The 7 song EP was well-received and they also received a gold plaque for their song “Way 2 Saucy” featuring Mac Mall also from the Bay Area. Unfortunately, things did not work out at Tommy Boy and the group asked to be let out of their contract. The group formed E&K Music Group and released “Money Rhymes” as their first release. That single featured heavyweights like E-40, Mac Mall, Above The Law, and local legends like Chunk and Neva Legal. The second release was “Hustle Music,” which features The Game, Young Noble from the Outlaws, Chunk, Sean T, and other Bay Area Legends. The album was legendary and notably with high regard. Unfortunately, Mac died in 2013, and A.K. is single-handedly running the record label and releasing projects with E & K Music Group. Once again, Outstanding Members’ Artists Lil 40 and Mooskie 200 team up to bring you their single “Attack.” As you may know, rap artists from Chicago deliver clear messages in their music. His father introduced him to classic hip-hop and R&B, filling the house with everything from Motown to Def Jam. Mooskie 200 had his second musical awakening when he discovered early 90s Gangster Rap. His musical inspiration comes from artists like NWA, Ice-T, MC Eiht and Compton’s Most Wanted, 2Pac, Notorious B.I.G., DMX, and others.

Joe Green teams up with Money Mu on his latest single “Loaded”

Joe Green, a Georgia native, is the most underrated independent artist in the game. At the beginning of it all, JG chose the mixtape route as a platform for exposure before going on to a rapidly rising career. Coming out of Atlanta(Scottdale) and delivering mixtapes filled with street anthems, rapper Joe Green began uploading his freestyles on the net in 2010.
