Mobile Alabama Recording Artist, X-isle releases his latest EP, “Ghosting”
Twenty-two years ago, the multi-talented artist named X-isle is born in Mobile, Alabama. It all begins when he started watching his cousin make beats. Suddenly, his cousin receives a life sentence and the young X had no choice but to make beats himself. It came easy to X due to his musical background and playing multiple instruments. When he was 9, he starts making beats and picks up the mic at 19.
“I use to make beats for people to rap on, then I would think to myself “ ole dude is trash on the mic “ so I wanted to see how hard it was and came easy for me.”
X-isle grew up listening to some of his favorite artists like Andre 3000 and J. Cole. Nowadays he thinks the best in the game is the artist PNB Rock and credits a lot of his melodic rapping style to him.
As for the rap scene today, well he has an interesting view on that.
“I think right now, there’s a lot of “gimmick” artist out, but not a lot of true artists out, he says. Right now I feel like having a big social media presence is how to get clout, but that’s not me. If getting “clout” requires me to run down the street yelling “Boonk Gang” or starting beef with somebody, then I’m ok with not being famous. I love doing music, period and I’m not gonna change who I am just so other people will pay attention to me”
X-isle’s latest EP, “Ghosting” is doing well according to X. He reports that he did not expect it to get as much attention as it did. The EP album beginning with the lead song and album title “Ghosting” gives you a sense of hurt and honesty. The more you listen to the project, you will notice that X-isle shouldn’t be placed in a creative “box.” He exhibits that he can make music you can vibe to with the singles, “Ghosting” and “Wasteman.”
Also, something that’s more upbeat and hype with the song titled “So Cold” but can also go bar for bar with the titled “Watershed.”
Without a doubt, X-isle has the potential to be a big named artist and one of many artists to stand out in the oversaturated rap industry. Be sure to check out his new EP, “Ghosting” and connect with him on all social media to remain in tune.

The Urban Fu$e Collective releases a new project, “Runaway”
The members of Urban Fu$e hail from all over the world and are truly a reflection of diverse cultures and different approaches to music fused into one single sound. A strong dance beat is the hallmark of UF no matter the genre: Hip Hop / Rap, Dance Hall, V-Pop, Afro, Latin, UF does it all!
Why do they call themselves Urban Fu$e?
They chose the name because of the multicultural fusion of their music, but also because they consider themselves to be fuses: they will spark the musical revolution that is to come. The members of Urban Fu$e come from Yaounde, Cameroon, Lagos, Nigeria; Freeport, Bahamas; Nashville, Tennessee; San Francisco Bay Area, California; London, England, and Vietnam. Their new single “Runaway,” is a breath of musical fresh air, as their intriguing sound is like no other on the scene.
Quote from Suzanna Lam, founder of Urban Fu$e:
“I was inspired by a true story I saw on Youtube that happened back in the ’60s or ’70s in which a beautiful actress was caught cheating on her husband and caused quite a scandal, especially for the guy who was a well-known songwriter in the entertainment industry. In the true story the guy (the husband) was broken-hearted, cried, pleaded to her in public to come back to him with the kids and he would forgive her but she never did probably too embarrassed. There are well-known documented youth suicides as a result of social media bullies. The cause of suicide is due to the embarrassment caused by these online bullies. We intentionally have a male vocalist on the track because we feel crying is a very natural process when someone is hurt physically and emotionally so it doesn’t matter if you’re a boy or a girl, you have the ability to cry and that’s OK, not a taboo as in “boys don’t cry” kind of attitude that most people believe. Hopefully, through this song boys are more accepted to cry because it’s not healthy to hold things back inside and boys pretend to be strong.
Crying is just a way for the body to re-balance the chemicals in the body when it goes through an emotional shock so there is nothing to be ashamed or embarrassed about it. That’s why we had female rapper coming on the track in verse three to tell him just that message.

Jersey Native, TattedUpBroc’s EP “Crackheads Made Me Rich” serves a dose of reality
When growing up fast is the only option, TattedUpBroc takes a negative and turns it into a positive. Tattedupbroc’s – also known as Broccoli – arrests in the past earns his street credit in his neighborhood. At the beginning of his career, the underground rapper releases his music on SoundCloud. Looking back at his lifestyle, unlike a few rappers in the music industry who rap about the streets, Tattedupbroc has real lyrical stories to tell. By delivering several doses of reality, he is now considered to be one of the most talented rap artists in the game.
TattedUpBroc’s eight-track EP titled “Crackheads Made Me Rich Vol. 1” is the one project from his entire music catalog that stands out to the masses. With his history in the streets, it was not a problem for the artist to come up with material for this project. Additionally, The host – DJ Jay Era’s excitement brings an extra thriller to the EP as he guides the listeners into each track.
For the EP, Broccoli snags the beat to one of the tracks, “Breakfast Club Ni**a on Instagram. The beat is from well-renowned Chicago producer Young Chop -who produced tracks like “Don’t Like” and “Dis Ain’t What You Want.” The original concept for the track was used for a commercial for “The Breakfast Club”. But when positive feedback is heard, Broccoli adds it as a bonus track for the EP.
The main controversial song on the EP is “Kooking with the Kardashians”. It’s about teaching the ‘Kardashian’ sisters the correct way to manufacture drugs in the kitchen.
Another track and the crowd favorite.gangbanging anthem is “Bang Bang.” Ricky Vision, an upcoming Jersey producer, who created the dark snare drum pattern mixed with the intense lyrics and deep tone to make this song perfect. With the assistance of DJ Jay Era, TattedUpBroc’sdaily views and downloads increase which helps his social media following along with streams. This body of work is definitely a street favorite amongst those distributing narcotics or anyone who is living the life of crime.
With more music on the way, the suspense of what Tattedupbroc will come up with next is mystifying. The one thing we know for certain is – as long as the streets are talking- it will be hot.
